The ABTC sponsors a number of events throughout the United States which can attract Tervuren from all over the country. The highlight of the year is the ABTC National Specialty Show which includes conformation, performance and obedience. There are also many shows and/or trials held by local area clubs across the United States. Look at the Area Club Events Calendar to find one near you.
The National Specialty is usually held in May. The location rotates throughout the United States by region. The map shows which states comprise each region. The schedule for the rotations is North, East, West, South. However, when a bid to host the Specialty is not received from the scheduled region, the hosting of the Specialty is opened to all of the regions to bid on.

The map shows which states comprise each region. The schedule for the rotations is North, East, West, South. However, when a bid to host the Specialty is not received from the scheduled region, the hosting of the Specialty is opened to all of the regions to bid on. A copy of the ABTC Specialty Policies and Procedures may be obtained from the Vice President or Recording Secretary. Bids are due to the Recording Secretary on August 31, three years prior to the event.
