Head faults: (see also the Color pictures)

a.jpg (8118 bytes) m.jpg (9471 bytes) planes1.jpg (12445 bytes)
#55 The frosting is normal for this veteran bitch, but her stop is too pronounced. #56 These ears are much too large, and he has  pronounced "spectacles" around his eyes.

(A mask not reaching the eye is a minor imperfection, however a pronounced look of spectacles encircling the eyes can detract from the beauty of the face).

#57 this male's stop is too long and pronounced, and the head planes are not parallel.

muzzle.jpg (16525 bytes) roundtops.jpg (17679 bytes) widebs.jpg (13324 bytes)
#58 this dog's muzzle is too short compared to his head, and his topskull is too rounded (this dog is in shadows, please disregard the darkness of color) #59 the stop is too deep and the topskull too rounded. Planes are not parallel. #60 her topskull is somewhat broad and rounded.

brhead.jpg (21242 bytes) drop1.jpg (24228 bytes) roman1.jpg (29253 bytes)
#61 her eyes are too round, head broad, and ears set on wide. #62 this male's muzzle is too pointed (nothing is under the nose) and it drops off above the nose. #63 a "roman" nose
pinched1.jpg (23338 bytes) cheekss.jpg (16062 bytes) flat2.jpg (18173 bytes)
#64 this dog's muzzle is pinched (too pointed) and is out of proportion. #65 she is cheeky #66 the stop lacks clear definition.
